MoMo E-Wallet – Senior Software Engineer (2023 – now)

I am a member of the AI CreditTech team – a dedicated group of seven technical experts united by a strong sense of ownership. Together, we manage six lending products, over 60 microservices, and more than 20 data pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the AI technical owner for two cash loan products, focusing on both risk management and sales growth.
• Oversee risk control across multiple touchpoints of the user journey – from pre-approval and application, through transactions, to debt reminder strategies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Risk, Product, Business, App, Backend, and QC) to develop and implement new features.

Achievements:

• Initiated and led the development of a new decision engine platform that empowers business users to control risk rules – previously managed exclusively by engineers. This breakthrough has enabled business teams to conduct multiple experiments independently, significantly enhancing engineering productivity by offloading operational tasks.
• Achieved double-digit growth in quarterly sales for a cash loan product while maintaining stable risk levels.
• Achieved a breakthrough in sales for another product, unlocking new opportunities for substantial growth.

Yojee – SaaS logistic platform – Senior Fullstack Engineer (2020 – 2023)

Yojee (yojee.com, Singapore) is a startup specializing in SaaS for the logistics sector, serving several of the world’s top ten logistics companies. When I joined the technical team, it comprised around 10 members, and it has since grown to 30.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the front-end system quality by:
  • Implementing end-to-end testing using Cypress.
  • Developing a comprehensive system design library.
  • Migrating legacy Angular pages to ReactJS.
  • Improving multi-language support.
  • Updating the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with international and cross-functional teams (Product, QC, Sales) to develop and implement new features.

Achievements:

• Delivered New Order Flow v2: Shipped a new version of the order flow that played a critical role in securing a top-ten client.
• Improved System Quality and Stability: Significantly boosted the overall quality and stability of the entire frontend system.
• Optimized Performance: Enhanced the performance of the data-intensive Items page, resulting in exceptional customer feedback.
• Knowledge Sharing: Conducted several sessions on front-end optimization topics, including ReactJS performance enhancements and Redux best practices.
• Team Mentorship: Mentored three front-end team members, contributing to their professional growth

This company, based in Singapore, is one of the largest tech firms in Southeast Asia. I had the opportunity to work with two of its leading subsidiaries – Shopee (e-commerce) and Garena (game distribution). In these roles, I contributed to several projects by handling end-to-end development tasks across both frontend and backend systems.
